Princess Cheesecake

A quaint little café situated amongst upmarket galleries, shops and bars, Princess Cheesecake is a gem for the sweet-toothed amongst you. With over fifteen cakes to choose from, there is something for everyone. Whether a traditional German cheesecake, a chocolate haven, or a zesty treat, all are made in store with intricate detail. There is also a large selection of teas on offer, and one or two non-cheesecake options.

With only six tables it is small, but its calm colours and relaxed atmosphere, completed with a chic-modern mix, add to its charm. A hatch gives you a glimpse into the kitchen where not only the cakes are made, but also jams of unusual natures, which are for sale in the café.

Due to its popularity, queues are not uncommon at the weekend and after work hours. It is possible to book ahead if you’re the organised type, and you can go weekday mornings when it’s quieter. Or, why not grab your cheesecake to go.

At the risk of sounding cheesy, these cakes are to die for.

Tip: Payment is only accepted in the form of cash or German debit cards.
